The purpose of the coupling is to connect the propeller axle with the marine gearbox, the centring on the marine gearbox is done with a cylindrical reamer and the hole on the propeller axle side can be cylindrical or conical. The connection is secured by bolts.
Material quality: the coupling is made of quality alloy steel 42CrMo4 (Č.4732), the tensile strength of the bolts is 8.8, the coupling is protected by browning, and browning is the process of permanent surface protection.
